The Ena En no Mi is a Logia-type that allows the user to create, control, and transform into pure energy at will, turning the user into a Energy Human (エナ間 Enajii Ningen). "Ena" is from "enajii", which is the Japanese pronunciation of the word "energy". The English naming of the fruit would simply be Energy Energy Fruit. The fruit was consumed by Leonardo Nightingale.
Appearance[]
The Ena Ena no Mi is, like many Devil Fruit, is a round, spherical fruit, light purple in colour, with small spherical parts with swirls, as well as large, long leafage at the base of the fruit, extending from it's stem to cover it on all sides. In terms of appearance, the Ena Ena no Mi resembles a Physalis.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
Like every other Logia-type Devil Fruit, the primary strength of the Ena Ena no Mi is it's ability to allow the user to produce, manipulate, and even transform themselves into the element they control, which, in the case of a user of the Ena Ena no Mi, would be "pure" energy. Due to the nature of the energy itself, the user is immune to attacks based on high levels of heat caused by flames, and as such can withstand abilities from the Mera Mera no Mi, however, the magma of the Magu Magu no Mi, in a similar vein to the Mera Mera, it can cause the user to be burnt by it despite their intangibility, making it their natural enemy.
Like any Devil Fruit, Busoshoku Haki can bypass its intangibility and thus render the user of the Ena Ena no Mi capable of being harmed.
Trivia[]
- The first Devil Fruit the author had ever created was referred as the Kakki Kakki no Mi, and the fruit itself manipulated energy much like the Ena Ena no Mi, however, it worked much differently than the Ena Ena no Mi, utilising "life energy" as opposed to simply pure energy. With the introduction of Haki, the Kakki Kakki no Mi would no longer fit within the universe.
