Pura Pura no Mi is a Logia type Devil fruit that allows the user the ability to become plasma. The fruit's major strength like other Logia types is that it allows the user to produce as well as become the element they control. In this case, Magnus was able to create, control, and become Plasma.Plasma is extremely hot able to melt almost anything it comes in contact with,even hotter than magma. With this in mind, Magnus is able to create plasma-based attacks and was immune to any heat-based attacks.
